The Williams-Payne House is the centerpiece of Sandy Springs and a showcase a1869 “plain style” farmhouse complete with period antiques. The house is open for museum tours on Fridays and by appointment. The Park and Garden Room are also available for special occasion rentals.
Over 20 miles of spacious recreation areas along the Chattahoochee River provide a way to cool down and refresh in summer. The river stays cool through summer and is filled with trout, bass and catfish. It is the perfect way to spend the day with the family to fish, picnic or kayak and enjoy Georgia’s great outdoors.
