Discover culture, history and tradition at the 9th Annual Indian Festival and Pow Wow, Nov. 6-9. With over fifty tribes represented, guests experience hands-on demonstrations of fire making, basket weaving, hide tanning, weaponry making and cooking. Additionally, Native Americans from across the United States will gather to compete in dance and drum competitions.

What:  9th Annual Indian Festival and Pow Wow

Who:  Guests can experience the South’s premier festival of its kind by journeying through the tipi village with styles dating back to the 1800s. An East meets West Encampment compares and contrasts the lifestyle of Southeastern and Plains Indians. Additional activities include dance and drum competitions, live entertainment, tasting of traditional Native American treats and an artist market where guests can purchase authentic Indian art.

When:
Nov. 6-7; 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Nov. 8; 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Nov. 9; 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Where:
Antebellum Plantation and Farmyard

Tickets:
Admission included in one-day Adventure Pass- $25 (plus tax) adults;

$20 (plus tax) kids 3-11 or individual tickets are $9 (plus tax).
