President’s Note
Wow! I am still excited following our recent meeting at Fernbank Museum of Natural History. First, let me thank Tim Hancock and his team for hosting us and providing a great meeting location. Second, I would like to thank everyone that came to our first general membership meeting of 2011. Our board had a vision to reach out and let all of the Atlanta Metro hospitality community come see what AMTA has to offer. I’m happy to say that our vision came to fruition when we had 28 guests at our February meeting! We had two people join on the spot and several more have joined since.
Now it is time to work hard to make AMTA the organization that moves forward and continues to give its members the information and tools for success. I hope that our members, both old and new, will make AMTA a priority. Plan to be at all of the meetings, join and committee and get involved. Just like any other organization…you get out of it what you put into it!
As always, if you have any questions or suggestions to make AMTA the best please let me know.
