Silent Auction

AMTA members: As in years past, we will have a silent auction in conjunction with the Holiday Luncheon on December 5th. We need your donations! All items are appreciated; hotel stays, restaurant and retail gift certificates, gift baskets, artwork, anything of value is appreciated. Please complete the attached form and fax to Jon Brasher by November 30th. This year auction proceeds will pay for Southeast Tourism Society marketing college scholarships for a few lucky AMTA members AND to fund our Sunshine fund, which is used to assist us in brightening the day of a member or someone we know in Georgia tourism who is celebrating a birthday/special occasion or perhaps dealing with an illness, etc.

2008 Membership Renewal Notices

It's that time of year again--time to renew your membership in the only Georgia state travel region that serves the Atlanta Metro tourism industry--AMTA!

You should have received your AMTA 2008 annual dues invoice in the mail.  Please renew your membership promptly.  If you didn't receive an invoice or have misplaced it, you can also renew your membership through AMTA's website. 

• Use this 2008 AMTA Membership Application - [pdf] that can be used to renew your current membership.
• Please print the application and check "RENEWAL" before returning with your payment.

Our goal is to have all of our members renewed by December 31st, so help us reach that goal. We have an exciting year ahead and you don't want to miss out!

Here’s another great opportunity from your AMTA Sales Committee…

The GDEcD will be attending the American Bus Association (ABA) Marketplace and Travel South Showcase in 2008. Their sales team is offering sponsorship opportunities to tourism partners throughout the State. This year’s theme is Georgia’s foods and they are asking for financial sponsorships or in-kind sponsorships of 2 oz. packages of food or candy. Your AMTA Sales Committee has negotiated an even better opportunity! For $350 you will become a sponsor at both travel shows. Your benefits include receiving motorcoach leads and the displaying of your profile sheets at both shows! This is a great way to have a presence at ABA and Travel South without the financial burden of actually attending.
