Meeting called to order by Jenkins at 10:05am
Motion to approve minutes from last General meeting by
Jenkins-Bailey second-unanimous vote to approve.
Gordon Price presented Treasurers report-motion to
approve-Brasher-Second-Stone-unanimous vote to approve.
Gov Conference in Athens planned for August 30-September 1,
2010-encourage all to attend.
Harwell presented Coop report: GDECD is rolling out
advertising program at Gov. Conference.
GDECD report presented by Brittney Gray. Feb 22-24
2011 is Travel South in Atlanta. Many sponsorship and volunteer
opportunities are available. Contact BGRAY@Georgia.org
PR committee report presented by Rebekah Cline.
Planning Labor day promotion on website. Also getting AMTA setup on
Facebook and other social media networks.
Fall In Love promotion planned for September and October.
Membership report presented by Brandi Wigley. Beth
Bailey recognized for having several guests at meeting.
Survey results are still coming in and being tabulated.
Governmental Affairs report given by Janet Rogers.
Gubernatorial Forum being held in Savannah August 18 at 9am all info on TDAG
website.
September Board meeting at Cobb CVB
October General Meeting at Bucca Di Beppo in Alpharetta
Round table discussion with Maura Neill, Laurie Rowe and
Stephanie Paupeck, discussion about social media, and blogs.
