Upcoming Meetings

Stately Oaks PlantationBoard of Directors Meeting
The next AMTA Board of Directors meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2011.  Networking begins at 9:30 a.m. followed by the meeting at 10:00.  The meeting will be hosted by the Clayton County CVB and will be held in the Bethel One Room Schoolhouse at Stately Oaks Plantation in Jonesboro.

Directions:
I-75 South to Exit 233.
Turn right on to Hwy. 54.
Travel 5 miles (past the Train Depot) to College Street.
Turn left over the railroad tracks.
Take an immediate right.
Stately Oaks will be 100 yards on your left.

General Membership Meeting
Fernbank Museum.
The next general membership meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 2, at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History.  Networking begins at 9:30 a.m. with the meeting following at 10:00 a.m.  Come see what the Atlanta Metro Travel Association has planned for 2011 including sales opportunities, legislative updates, marketing and public relations outreach.  If you know anyone in our industry who might be interested in being a part of AMTA, bring them along to this meeting for free.  They will learn all about our association and how membership can benefit them.  We’ll have some great prizes, too!  See you there.

Registration, sponsorships, and volunteer opportunities for Travel South are now available!  Make plans to attend the 29th Annual Travel South Showcase in Atlanta, Feb. 22 – 24, 2011. Showcase is the only regional tourism marketplace for the Southern USA.
